BIO-FIX

BIO-FIX® is designed for loose sows. Each Bio-Fix® dispenser can serve up to two animals. The system is comprised of a feed line and a no. of BIO-FIX® dispensers. Each of the dispensers is equipped with two augers in the buttom funnel. This leads the feed to each side. Via a shut-off damper the dispenser can also be set to only serving one animal. The dispenser is typically placed between two separated eating spots.

The feeding is typically carried out at a speed corresponding to the eating pace of the slowest animals. This creates a calm environment during feeding. When all animals eat at the same time and at a steady pace, the weakest animals also have the peace to eat.
