With Daltec fish feeding systems, you get gentle and efficient transport of fish feed – and even with low energy consumption and extremely quiet operation.
For over 15 years, at Daltec, we have been developing and producing feed systems specifically designed for fish farming. Our fish feed systems are based on both our 40 years of experience in feeding and feed transport within agriculture, and the special requirements that apply within aquaculture.
Daltec facilities transport feed using a wire-based conveyor system. With this type of feed delivery, you get a system that is gentler on the feed pellets than other methods. At the same time, it provides a very quiet and energy-efficient system with almost no dust development. Just as in agriculture, great emphasis has been placed on reliability, simplicity, and well-proven technology.
The electronic feed valve detects whether there is feed in the feeder. If the feeder is empty, the valve sends a message to the central feed controller which then measures out and sends a new portion of feed. When the feed arrives at the correct valve, this is opened and the feed is led down into the dispenser.
All valves are connected to the system's internal network which means that any alarms or irregularities are also quickly detected and communicated.
The DAC feeder-controller controls up to two independent feeders in order to ensure that the feeding intensity throughout any 24-hours period always fits the desired profile. The DAC controller is connected to the internal network of the system and automatically receives all data from the central feed controller. You can thus operate everything from one place.
