For more than 15 years, Daltec has also developed and produced feeding systems that are specifically designed for fish farming. The fish feeding systems are based on our 40 years of experience from feeding and feed transport in agriculture as well as the special requirements that apply within aquaculture.

The Daltec systems transport the feed using a wire-based transport system. With this type of transport, you get a system that is gentler on the feed pellets than other methods. You also get a very quiet and energy efficient system with almost no generation of dust. As in agriculture, great emphasis has been placed on reliability, simplicity, and well-proven technology.

Controls

Reliability and clarity are important factors in controlling the feed system.The daily operation is controlled and monitored via a simple and clear PC interface. Here you can adjust everything from feed profiles to quantities and pill sizes.

From the user interface, all data is automatically sent to the central feed controller. It then handles the electrical control, coordination and monitoring of all system components.

FEED ASSISTANT ONLINE+

Feed Assistant Online+ is the central controller in the feeding system. Via a network and sensors in the individual feed containers ensures that fresh feed is always being taken to the tanks and that the feeding plan is complied with. It can be controlled using the built-in display and menu system or be connected to a pc and the Daltec System Manager software.

ELECTRONIC FEED VALVE

The electronic feed valve detects whether there is feed in the feeder. If the feeder is empty, the valve sends a message to the central feed controller which then measures out and sends a new portion of feed. When the feed arrives at the correct valve, this is opened and the feed is led down into the dispenser.

All valves are connected to the system's internal network which means that any alarms or irregularities are also quickly detected and communicated.

PRECISE CONTROL OF FEEDERS

The DAC feeder-controller controls up to two independent feeders in order to ensure that the feeding intensity throughout any 24-hours period always fits the desired profile. The DAC controller is connected to the internal network of the system and automatically receives all data from the central feed controller. You can thus operate everything from one place.
